DNSanta checks each name against domain-registry data through its availability providers and reports whether the name looks available, taken or unknown. Results reflect the registry at check time and should be confirmed with a registrar before purchase.

Available means the name appears unregistered and open to register. Taken means it is already registered. Unknown means the registry did not return a clear answer (for example a rate limit or an unsupported extension) so you should try again or verify with a registrar.

Bulk checking runs your list as a queued, resumable batch in your account, so large lists are processed in the background rather than all at once. Paste or import your names and DNSanta works through them and lets you filter the results.

DNSanta checks the extensions configured as active in Supported TLDs by the DNSanta team. The available extensions are shown in the search tools; if an extension you need is missing, contact support.

Results come from live registry lookups and are accurate at the time of the check, but domain status can change at any moment. Always confirm a name with your registrar before you buy.

DNSanta surfaces dropped and expiring domains from its expired-domain data, with word segmentation and filters so you can spot brandable names. Browsing the feed and saving searches are account features.

Expired-domain data refreshes on a regular schedule from the sources connected by the DNSanta team, so the feed stays current and you can catch names as they drop.
